Download the installer
Optionally upload your current
live_streams.siion My file so we keep what you already have. -
Click Install
Close the game, open the installer and press Install stations. It backs up, installs and protects your file.
Where do I find live_streams.sii?
Open Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\ (or Documents\American Truck Simulator\). If it isn't there, start the game, open the radio once and quit — or just skip the upload and we'll build a fresh file.
My new stations don't show up in game.
The game must be fully closed when you install — it rewrites the file on exit. The installer warns you if the game is still running.
My stations disappeared after clicking refresh in game.
The cloud “refresh” button in the Radio stream tab downloads SCS's official station list and overwrites live_streams.sii. Open the Haulwave app and go to My stations → Restore missing — it remembers everything it installed. Or upload the refreshed file on My file and press Restore. The installer locks the file read-only so this can't happen; while it's locked, favourite stars you set in game won't be saved.
How do I unlock my file again?
Unlock it if you want the game to save favourite stars, or to edit the file yourself. Use the , the File & lock page in the Haulwave app, or right-click the file → Properties → untick Read-only.
Windows says “Windows protected your PC”.
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns about it. Click More info → Run anyway. It only writes inside your game's Documents folder.
The site says my file is encrypted.
Some installs save .sii files in a binary format. Decrypt it with a SII decrypt tool, or skip the upload and start fresh with just your picks.
A station won't preview here.
Some broadcasters only stream over plain HTTP, which browsers block on secure pages. Those usually still play fine in game. Hand-picked stations are tested regularly.
Where does the station list come from?
“All stations” is powered by Radio Browser, an open, community-maintained directory that checks streams daily. We only show working MP3 streams, since that's what the game plays.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Reading, merging and generating the file happens entirely in your browser.
Station data by Radio Browser. Station names and logos belong to their broadcasters. Not affiliated with SCS Software.
